After years of playing cycling games, I decided to build the one me and my friends were missing. Easier to use, packed with the right features, and 100% dedicated to cycling.
You know the pain.
- 01 Picking your team weeks before the race. Startlists aren't out yet. None of your riders end up riding.
- 02 Stage one. Your GC leader crashes. Without transfers, your chances of winning and the fun to keep playing are gone.
- 03 Playing it safe with the favorites is almost always more rewarding than picking a fun dark horse. And with every tip channel pointing to the same riders, half the teams end up looking identical.
You'll do that later anyway.
Build your squad
Pick riders within a fixed budget. Big names cost more but deliver points. Dark horses cost less but reward bold predictions.
Set your lineup
Before each stage, choose 9 riders, one as your captain. Mountains? Sprints? Time trial? Just make sure your lineup is in before the start.
Pick your captain
Your captain scores 50% more points. Pick the obvious choice and hope nothing strange happens. Or trust a feeling and spend the whole stage watching nervously.
Adapt when things go wrong
Because they will. Transfers give you room to recover from bad luck and missed starts.
Compare and compete
See how your team stacks up against others. Compare picks, track your performance, and adjust your strategy as the race unfolds.

Unique picks are rewarded
Picking the obvious favorite is easy. Everyone does it.
Breakaway tries to reward insight. Scored points are influenced by ownership impact. A big performance from a rare pick is worth more than the same result from a rider everyone owns. This shifts the focus away from copying tips from tip channels. If you understand the race better than others, you'll see it in your score.

Last-minute DNS?
Bench riders automatically step in if a selected rider doesn't start. Step outside without worrying.
Crashes, abandons, ruined GC hopes?
Your GC favorite crashes on stage three. Now you're stuck watching your race fade away. Or you make a transfer and stay in the fight.

We can send you a notification when the stage is about to start, and your lineup is not fully set yet.
Still forgot your lineup?
Your lineup from the previous stage carries over. And if no captain is set, Breakaway picks your highest-rated rider for that parcours type. You might lose the edge, but you won't lose the stage.
